In 2018 the INN members created INN Central to extend their activities to engage in international variety commercialisation, beyond nursery tree propagation. INN Central is empowered to engage directly with new variety owners and variety developers.

The appointment of Garry Langford, as INN GM, to support the extensive member expertise, provides INN with the capability to be engaged directly in all facets of the variety development process from distribution and testing through to licencing the commercialisation of new varieties.
